The Brief.

Shoreline needed an identity that captured the character of its setting — a waterfront venue in a small Fife town with a strong sense of place and community.

The brand needed to feel warm and approachable, while carrying the visual language of the coast.

"A brand that feels like it's always been part of Newport-on-Tay — rooted in the place, open to everyone."

Creative Direction.

The identity draws on classic nautical cues — circular badge-style logos, layered wave forms, a restrained navy and seafoam palette — reinterpreted through a contemporary, editorial lens.

A flowing script logotype contrasts with the structured circular lockup to balance personality with authority.

Business Cards.

The business card extends the brand into print. A warm cream field anchors the logo on the front, while the layered wave illustration bleeds into the bottom third — mirroring the view from Boat Brae itself.

Contact information is set cleanly in navy against the darkest wave band for legibility and brand cohesion.
